GLOBAL WATER DANCE EVENT
JUNE 10, 2023 at 10am.
at Magnolia Park (Lakeside)

GWD uses the international languages of dance and fil to promote awareness and a behavioral shift toward solutions for water preservation and conservation through community engagement!
The Centre for Dance & the Performing Arts and friends of Lake Apopka are partnering in this effort to raise awareness about the continuing need for support for the restoration of LAke Apopka. We believe the health and wholeness of the Lake is a reflection on the health and wholesomeness of our community!
We will gather on the morning of JUNE 10, 2023 at Magnolia Park (lakeside) with the official event starting at 10am. Dancers will begin their preparation in March and we will keep you updated throughout the process!

Our CDPA Director serves on the Board of Directors for dance and the Child International - USA and our CDPA Performing Ensemble will be traveling to Hope College in Holland, Michigan this summer to attend the daCI Gathering!
Our dancers will also be performing and collaborating with students in Utah and Washington State. This Gathering is open to anyone and takes place every three years. Many of our students serve on the daCi Youth Leadership Team!
Just another way that CDPA supports whole-child learning through dance!
